Price Lists
Manage and apply different pricing for your products based on customers, groups, or business rules.
Overview
Price Lists allow you to define different prices for the same item.
This is useful when:
- Different customers get different rates
- Wholesale and retail pricing varies
- You want flexible pricing control
Why Use Price Lists?
Price lists help you:
- Apply correct pricing automatically
- Manage bulk and retail pricing
- Avoid manual price changes in orders
- Maintain consistency across sales
Types of Price Lists
Selling Price List
Used when selling items to customers.
Example:
- Retail Price List
- Wholesale Price List
Buying Price List
Used when purchasing items from suppliers.
Example:
Supplier Price List
Add & Update Item Prices, Manage Price list
Create a Price List
- Go to Selling → Price List
- Click on Add New
- Enter:
- Price List Name
- Currency
- Selling / Buying (select type)
- Save
Add Prices to Price List
To assign prices to items:
- Go to Item Price
- Click Add New
- Enter:
- Item
- Price List
- Rate
- UOM (optional)
- Save
Assign Price List to Customer
You can assign a default price list to a customer.
- Open Customer
- Select Default Price List
- Save
Now, when creating orders, pricing is applied automatically.
Pricing by Customer Group
You can also assign price lists to customer groups.
Example:
- Retail → Standard Price
- Wholesale → Discounted Price
- Distributor → Bulk Pricing
Multi-UOM Pricing
You can define different prices based on units.
Example:
- 1 carton → $96
- 1 pcs → $4
This ensures accurate pricing across units.

Best Practices

- Price not showing → Verify Item Price entry
- Incorrect UOM pricing → Check unit settings
